"AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 MINUTES"
directed by Grit Kümmele and choreographed by Gilbert Coutrin, is an 80 minute musical and theatrical rendition of Jules Vernes’ classic novel. Through song and dance, two rivals take a trip around the world trying to prove that technology does not hold the answer to all life’s mysteries. The show concept was conceived by Grit Kümmele for a conference on “Simulation in Production and Logistics” organized by the Fraunhofer Institute and was performed at the Kalkscheune in Berlin, Germany.
